Our 4 must-have spices for this summer
Summer is here, and the season for long ‘alfresco’ breakfasts and dinners is officially open. This season, we want to discover new flavours, and share them with our friends thanks to these spicy combinations that are so quick to prepare! What could be better than ready-to-use spices, to improvise a last-minute aperitif, a barbecue with lots of guests, or to create a great family moment?
You’re already familiar with our range of Spice Sauces, and for this summer we’re introducing a new range of Rubs, a blend of spices that will add a touch of sweetness and flavour to your summer recipes!
Rubs and Barbecues
Mekong, Campfire, Cocoa and Green Kampot Pepper… our new Rubs are a real invitation to travel. Designed as a tribute to Khmer flavours, our rubs will be your best allies this barbecue season. Simply sprinkle a little of the mixture over your meat, vegetables or vegetable proteins at least 30 minutes before cooking, or even overnight for maximum flavour. In addition to the spicy notes, our Rubs will lightly caramelise and tenderise the meat… A real treat!
Green Chilies Duo Sauce and Seafood
We’re totally addicted to our Green Chilies Duo Sauce, because it adds a tangy note that we’re particularly fond of at this time of year. At breakfast, on eggs or bacon, in cucumber gazpacho, or in mayonnaise or yoghurt sauces to accompany barbecues… It’s with seafood that this sauce really comes into its own. Slightly spicy and vinegary, it’s a ready-to-use sauce that can be poured directly over fresh oysters, cooked or raw prawns, fish tartare, smoked salmon, mayonnaise for whelks and other shellfish, snacking on scallops or carpaccio – in short, your seafood is in for a real treat this summer!
Dried Fruits and cheese platters
Have you ever tried our Dried Mango and Pineapple with Red Kampot Pepper? Both sweet and lightly peppery, this ready-to-use snack is ideal for adding to a cheese platter as an aperitif. It will counterbalance the richness of cow’s cheese and the freshness of goat’s cheese, giving your guests a unique flavour… As quick to prepare as it is to devour!
Wild Cardamoms Duo Sauce and Fresh Cream or Yoghurt
What an incredible season for fruit! Apricots, peaches, strawberries, cherries… summer is full of flavours. We love eating them raw, in salads, or cooked, in compotes, crumbles, amandines, clafoutis or poached in butter.
Our tip, ready in 1 minute: add our Wild Cardamoms Duo Sauce to fresh cream or yoghurt to create a spicy sauce that goes wonderfully with fruit desserts. Surprise and indulgence guaranteed! Cardamom yoghurt can also be enjoyed on its own, with granola or nuts for a tasty snack.
