Handcrafted by the rural community of Siem Reap in Cambodia from the trunk of the sugar palm, the mortar reveals the grooves of the wood.

Put a few peppercorns in the mortar and crush them with the pestle. Can be used for whole bird chilis, cardamom seeds, or other spices.
