Petals of Galangal
Widely used in cooking and renowned for enhancing the aromas of other spices, Galangal reveals a spicy flavor and pleasant notes of mustard, rose and eucalyptus.
Victim of its success
Used in many Asian culinary and medicinal traditions, galangal, although less well known than ginger and turmeric, contains an unsuspected aromatic richness.
As an herbal tea, it delivers a relaxing blend with an exciting scent!
Our Galangal is harvested, peeled, sliced and dried immediately at low temperature to retain all its aromas.
Start by boiling water for your tea. When boiling, pour the water into your teapot.
Place in the teapot 1-2 full spoon of petals of galangal per cup and let steep for 10 to 15 minutes (depending of your personal taste, if you like it light or strong).
It is always better to drink infusions without sugar and taste the product by itself. You can also let it cool down and drink an iced galangal tea.
Of a very high quality, these petals can be re-infused 2 to 3 times after the first use. This infusion, with a lighter taste, will allow you to fully benefit from this product.
Once the package is open, we recommend that you keep the Galangal petals in a closed jar, protected from light and moisture, so that it retains all its flavor.
