5 ways to add deliciousness to a salad
If cooking salad sounds like a punishment, think again! By adding some spices, you’ll be surprised just how generous and delicious a salad can be. From dressing to toppings, here are our latest tips to try out this summer.
Spice up the dressing
For a delicious salad, you always need a nice dressing, and what could be better than a spicy vinaigrette? Why not try :
– Add White Turmeric to a vinaigrette, in addition to the usual ingredients
– Replace the mustard in the dressing with our Papaya Ginger Sauce
– Replace the ground pepper with our Black Kampot Pepper Sauce
– Add spiced honey for a sweet and savoury touch
Sprinkle the salad with spices
If you have your usual salad dressing, you can also add spices as a finishing touch. Our current favourite combinations are :
– Fresh Salted Red Kampot Pepper on asparagus salads, and even on a salad with watermelon
– The Citrus Mix on slices of melon
– Fresh Salted Long Pepper on raw fennel
– Mekong Rub on green salads
Marinade the ingredients
We also like to include cooked and especially marinated ingredients in our salads this summer:
Barbecued or roasted vegetables marinated in Firecamp Rub, for a Mediterranean salad with smoky flavours
– Cauliflower with Khmer Masala Sauce
– A caesar salad with chicken marinated in Cacao Rub
– A vegan salad with tempeh marinated in Smoked Long Chili
– Feta marinated in Fresh Salted Long Pepper
Braise the salad
Want to surprise your guests? Try braising your s salad this summer:
– Sprinkle with Citrus Mix once roasted
– Serve with mayonnaise with a little White Turmeric powder
– Spread it with butter spiced with Green Pepper Rub

And to finish it off, we love a slightly crunchy touch to add a touch of indulgence. Our favourite combinations of the moment :
– Oven-roasted sunflower seeds with Smoky Mix
– Roasted cashew nuts with a little Cacao Rub
– Spicy Parmesan crisps
– Grilled halloumi
