Fruit of the tamarind tree, the tamarind is originally from Africa, and acclimated well to the Cambodian climate. Now, it is wildly used in Khmer cuisine. Our Tamarind BBQ Sauce is made from the fresh pulp of tamarind, which has a sweet and sour taste. Its spicy note comes from the addition of smoked chilies and Smoked Kampot (Black and White) Peppers.
