Tamarind Cinnamon Sauce
Our Tamarind cinnamon Sauce is the sweetest of our spice sauces. It will accompany you from breakfast to dinner. For cinnamon lovers!
Victim of its success
A tangy sauce
with Cinnamon
The sauce is primarily made from tamarind, a tropical fruit highly appreciated in various parts of the world, including Cambodia. Then comes cassia cinnamon, an extraordinary variety of cinnamon. It stands out with its rich and sweet flavour, bolder, with spicy and warm notes, bringing an exquisite depth to every drop of the sauce.
Recognisable by its long, curved pods, tamarind is a key ingredient in many dishes, containing a tangy pulp that adds a unique flavour dimension to local cuisine. From sweet and sour dishes to refreshing drinks, tamarind remains an essential part of Cambodian culinary culture, and we wanted to honour it by incorporating it into our cinnamon tamarind sauce.
Besides its culinary use, tamarind is also known for its medicinal properties. It is sometimes used in traditional remedies for its digestive benefits.
We also include natural cane sugar to complement the flavours of tamarind and cinnamon. Finally, pure crystalline water is added to create a smooth texture while preserving the authenticity of the ingredients.
Free from preservatives and artificial colouring, our cinnamon tamarind sauce is 100% natural!
